Ethernet connection 

The HMI Unit has one LAN port at the rear. This port is mainly used to connect the 
HMI Unit to the Processing Unit (normally LAN 2) via network. This LAN has 10/100 
Mbps capacity. 

To connect this LAN to a network, a straight-through twisted pair (TP) cable with RJ-45 
connectors must be used. A straight-through cable is one where the pins of one 
connector are connected to the same pins of the other connector. Below is the pin wiring 
for the twisted pair (TP) cable:
