How to replace the hand brake unit potentiometer

•Before replacing the hand brake unit potentiometer, be sure to turn OFF

the main power switch and unplug the power cord from the receptacle.

•Since the hand brake unit is heavy, use due care when handling it.

Remove the eight screws and
detach the hand brake unit cover.

R e m o v e t h e s i x s c r e w s a n d
separate the hand brake unit from
the main unit.

Disconnect the wiring from the
potentiometer, and detach the
potentiometer bracket.
