2. Install the Valve
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Remove the plaster guards
and valve/diverter units applying heat to the yoke.
NOTE: For ceiling supply lines, install the yoke with the supply
inlets facing up.
For 1/2” Pipe Connections:
Apply sealant tape to the pipe threads.
Slide the nut over the pipe.
Secure the 1/2
″
adapter to the pipe.
Secure the nut to the yoke.
For Copper Tubing Connections With Adapter:
Slide the nut over the copper tubing.
Solder the adapter to the tubing.
Secure the nut to the yoke.
For Copper Tubing Connections with Direct Sweat Inlets:
Remove the plaster guards and valve/diverter units from the
yoke.
Solder the tubing to the yoke inlet.
