Warning on Opening the lid
•
When the electric pressure cooker is not operating, there is no pressure in the pot
and the float valve is down.
•
When the electric pressure cooker is operating, pressure in the cooker rises and the
float valve rises: do not open the lid before the pressure has been completely
released.
•
If it is difficult to open the lid, do not force it open; otherwise, it may cause scalding
or physical injury.

Be sure to periodically check the cover and
exhaust valves to ensure that they are not
blocked.

Do not cover the exhaust valve with heavy
objects or replace it with other objects.
