Note that the float switch is shown schematically as NO, meaning that with no 
hydraulic fluid in the reservoir, the switch is open.

Booster Pump Temperature Switch 
 
A temperature- activated switch is located in the low pressure cutting water 
plumbing adjacent to the low pressure water filter. This temperature switch is 
intended to detect excessive water temperature downstream of the booster 
pump, indicating a dead- headed pump or lack of water circulation to keep the 
booster pump cooled. The booster pump temperature switch is normally- closed 
(NC), hence when it is exposed to temperature exceeding approximately 135 deg 
F the switch opens.

RH & LH Proximity Switches 
 
Proximity switches (2 each per intensifier) are mounted onto the outside 
diameter of the hydraulic cylinder portion of the intensifier. These switches 
detect ‘end- of- stroke’ of the hydraulic piston, and send a signal to the PLC or 
shift controller, signaling that it is time to reverse direction of the piston/ 
plunger assembly.  

A circular connector in the side of the enclosure is provided in order to 
interface with the remote operator’s station
