- Measuring inputs insulated neither from instrument internal
circuitry nor mutually not from external temperature input
- The terminals IΔ12 and IΔ12 (or T-) are connected internally, do
not connect signals of different potential !
- Maximum length of connection cable is 3 meters ! Otherwise,
EMC-immunity of the instrument can be degraded.
RCM mode :
- Inputs designed for indirect connection only – suitable residual
current transformer (RCT) must be used
- Insulation of the RCT must fulfil IEC61010-1 requirements for the
CATIII double insulation for the mains voltage present
- Alternating and pulsating direct residual currents measurement
according the A-type RCM specification as defined in the IEC
62020 standard
- No directional sensitivity of the residual currents evaluated
