SMY133-SMY134-SMP133 Operating Manual

4.4 Embedded Auxiliary Voltage Backup (SMP 133
only)

Internal power supply of the SMP 133 instruments is equipped with the supercapacitor backup 
module. With this module, measurement core of the instruments can operate continuously even at 
short auxiliary power outages (see technical specifications for backup times).
Only voltage & current measurement core and the Ethernet interface are backuped, so following 
devices are unfunctional during the backup :

•

display

•

digital inputs & outputs

•

communication interfaces but the Ethernet

•

auxiliary voltage for current sensors at „X/333mV“ models
