• Place the grid in the into the device
• Place the well-sealed preserving jars on the cooking grid. A
maximum of 14 preserving jars (for the 27-liter and 7 glasses
for the 16-liter model) with a capacity of 1 liter can be
sterilized / pasteurized one above the other.
• Fill the machine with water until the upper canning jars are ¾
in the water. Make sure that the preserving jars are all well
closed, so that no water can penetrate (see fig.)
• Put the lid on and set the temperature regulator to the desired temperature according to the
cooking table below. The specified cooking times refer to the actual cooking time. Starting
with the time when the set temperature is reached.
• Depending on the filling, heating may take up to 90 minutes. Finally, set the signal tone-
switch to 1, an electronic signal will sound as soon as the set temperature is reached.
• Switch on the device by the timer. To do this, please contraclockwise turn the timer to
(Cont.) Then the device keeps the heat permanently and timer function is off.-
• Now the heating phase starts.
• When the electronic beep sounds, set the cook time according to the table.
• To do this, set the timer knob clockwise to the required temperature.
• The beep switch can now be switched off. Set the toggle switch to 0.
• When the cooking time has elapsed, the appliance switches off automatically, which is
indicated by a ringtone of the timer.
• The device can now be switched off. Afterwards please set the temperature control to Off
and unplug the power plug from the socket.
• Place a temperature-resistant container under the tap and push the dispensing lever
downwards. The water runs out. (if necessary tilt something forward)
• When the water has drained, allow the appliance to cool.
• Then remove the glasses, keep clamps or other lid holders on the glasses until they have
cooled down completely.
