4.1(d) Electric Start

: turn the engine switch to the START until the engine has started. Do not operate 

the starter for more than 10 seconds.   

 

            Manual Start

: pull the starter grip lightly until resistance is felt then pull the starter grip briskly

Do not allow the starter grip to snap back. Return it slowly by hand. 

■

Do not let the starter rope rub against the generator body or the rope 

will wear out prematurely.
