Note: The initial setup will only be present the first
time you launch the Kingston MobileLite app. For any
future changes, you will be required to navigate to the
device settings.
The first step provides the option to change the name / SSID
(Default MLWG2-XXXX). The last four characters of the unit’s
unique MAC address will be in place of the “XXXX”. This will
prevent any confusion when multiple devices exist within
close proximity. Please see
Figure 2.1

In

, you will notice the option to password protect
your device from unauthorized users. With the WPA2 security
protocol in effect, only users who are given the password
will have access to the device. The password must contain a
minimum of 8 characters.
Connecting to MobileLite Wireless G2 will substitute your
iPad/iPhone’s Internet connection with MobileLite Wireless’s
wireless connection.
