MILLIVOLT LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION

Do not wire 120 Volt power to Millivolt switches or
thermostats.

WARNING

If ﬁreplace has glass doors, never operate the heater
with glass doors closed. If you operate heater with
doors closed, heat build-up inside ﬁreplace will
cause glass to burst.

WARNING

A ﬁreplace screen must be in place when the appli-
ance is operating and, unless other provisions for
combustion air are provided, the screen shall have an
opening(s) for introduction of combustion air.

WARNING

Periodic examination and cleaning of the venting
system of the solid fuel burning ﬁreplace, including
frequency of such examination and cleaning, by a
qualiﬁed agency.
