Installing the Driver and Software

Start the PC.
Notes
• Confi rm that your PC meets the system requirements (

. 31).
• Log in as the user with administrative authority.
• Close all applications currently running. Also close any virus protection utility or similar
programs.

Connect the Mouse-Type Scanner to the USB port on the PC.
Installation of the driver starts automatically.
Notes
• Do not disconnect the Mouse-Type Scanner during the installation of the driver.
• Operation is not guaranteed if this product is connected via a USB hub.
• If the Mouse-Type Scanner is not properly recognized, try connecting it to a different
USB port.

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of the PC.
The [Scanner Mouse] screen appears.
Install:
Installation of the software starts.

The PDF version of the User's Manual is displayed.

You need Adobe Reader to view PDF fi les. Contact Adobe about acquiring Adobe Reader.
