Quick Start
Verify Operation of the Signal Generator

Verify Operation of the Signal Generator

To verify the operation of the M9484C VXG, run a Self Test and Internal
Alignments.

Run a Self Test

Refer to the

“Front and Rear Panel Features” on page 25

for a description of

the front and rear panel connectors.

From the M9484C application, select the Triple-bar

icon (top left corner)

and then select

Settings

Select the

Service

tab >

Self Test

Run Self Test

The self test takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
