When the carrier phase must be aligned between channels (beamforming, relative
phase measurements), cable the instrument as follows:
– Primary 100 MHz connections (8121-2175, long SMB-SMB); chassis
sync; 10 MHz distribution
– Secondary 100 MHz & IF connections (8120-5091, short SMB-SMB)
– LO distribution connections (V2800-20010, V2800-200011, V2800-
20007)
– PCIe cable (Y1202A); trigger cables
– Unused M9301A modules
