4 Launch the radar Assistant by clicking the M8195A specific functions button
and the selecting FMCW Radar Assistant as shown below.

5 Initialize the LO Source Instrument:
a Enter the VISA address of the source instrument in the VISA Addr edit box.
The Keysight Connection Expert application can be used to check the
address of the instrument.
b Press the Test connection button which should turn green if the instrument
is connected. It is not necessary to set the frequency or amplitude of the
source as the Radar Assistant will to do that.
c If the LO cable specifications are known, key the loss in dB in the LO Cable
Loss edit box so that the assistant can adjust the amplitude accordingly.
You may also leave the loss at 0 dB and adjust the LO source amplitude
manually after the signal is generated.
