Keysight E8740A-060 Start-up Guide
Using Wideband IF Output
The following steps demonstrates how to use the wideband block converted IF
signal from the N9041B’s millimeter wave downconverter for analysis on the
DSOS804 oscilloscope and VSA89600 software.

input as shown in

the DSOS804.

Note that the N9041B-CRW option is required for the Ext IF Out connector.

Set spectrum analyzer in IQ Analyzer
mode.

Press the
MODE/MEAS
hard key or tap
the
Screen
tab.

For Mode, Measurement, and View
choose
IQ Analyzer
,
Complex
Spectrum
, and
Normal
.
The scope requires time sampled
waveform, so the mode must be changed
to IQ Analyzer mode.
