4.1 PLAYING THE LEGEND EXP
Legend Exp
simulates the upper and lower manuals as well as the pedalboard of electromechanical organs.
From this point onward, with regards to
Legend Exp
,
-
upper manual
refers to the Upper
section
-
lower manual
refers to the Lower
section
-
pedalboard

section
These sections can be played in different ways, according to the instrument(s) transmitting the signal and the
user’s preferences. First, select the appropriate MIDI data reception mode, called MIDI MODE.
To select a MIDI MODE, press and hold the [ROTARY] button and then push the [DRIVE] button repeatedly.
An alternative procedure is holding down the [DRIVE] button and then [ROTARY] until the letters "
MdE
" appear
on the display (the same message will appear at the first access to the MIDI menu after switching on the
instrument).
Now press [VALUE +] or [VALUE -], to switch between modes. The display will show the currently selected
MIDI MODE:
-
436B
“
Md1
”: MIDI MODE 1
-
437B
“
Md2
”: MIDI MODE 2
