Overview of the MIDI message format
To make it easier to understand, MIDI data is usually represented in either decimal (base 10) or
hexadecimal (base 16) numbers. On the Freaks, decimal is suffixed with [d]. Hex is suffixed with [h].
The MIDI standard uses 0-255 in the following way:
00 - 7F = 0-127 variable for data
