Placing the tubes in the rotor
The rotor must be loaded symmetrically. When loading
the rotor only partially, you must ensure that opposite
bores always receive tubes of equal weight (when
centrifuging a single sample, place a centrifuge tube
e.g. filled with water opposite). The following figure
gives examples for proper loading.

Uneven loading can in the extreme
case lead to actuation of the unbal-
ance detection. Unbalance not only
causes a noisy run, but also rapidly
damages the motor suspension.
improperly loaded rotors
These examples are to be applied to the other rotors in
an analogous manner!
After placing the tubes, close the rotor lid.
Close the centrifuge lid by firmly pressing it down. The
lid must snap audibly into place so that it cannot be
opened manually any more.
