Inspection

It is very important to regularly check the machine, in order to detect and prevent 

wear and tear, damage, etc.

WARNING! 

ALWAYS STOP THE ENGINE BEFORE STARTING MAINTENANCE /SER-

VICE. TO AVOID UNEXPECTED START, TURN THE ENGINE TURN THE KEY TO “OFF” PO-
SITION AND DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG CAP.

Never use a damaged machine to avoid injuries. If excessive vibration or 

smoke occurs, stop immediately and inspect the machine. Fix the problem 

before the machine is used again.

LUBRICATION OF THE MACHINE:

• 

Lubricate band wheel shafts with grease and lubricate the stabilizer bars for raising and 

lowering of the carriage and the crankshaft with oil before each use.

• 

Lubricate the tension handles with grease once a month

Before storing the machine, it might be good to perform service to ensure that the 

machine works as it should the following season.

1.  Paint the machine if needed, to prevent rusting

2.  Check if the machine is damaged, tighten all bolts and nuts are loose 

3.  Change oil

4.  Open the fuel valve and drain the tank and carburetor

5.  Close the fuel valve

6.  Lubricate all grease fittings and joints

7.  Store in a dry, clean place, cover for extra protection

8.  Lubricate the blades and fasteners with oil to prevent rust.

INSPECTION OF BELT

First control and tensioning of the belt shall be done after 1 hour of driving to be sure that the 

belt is properly tensioned. Check the belt regularly and tighten as necessary. Correct belt ten-

sion; the pressure belt should be moved 20 mm (10 mm on each side).
