12.9 Switching output OUT 2
OUT2 changes its switching state according to the adjusted function� The functions
and parameters are the same as OUT 1�
12.10 Dirt alert
A dirt alert function is available to ensure a safe measurement for the PX pyrom-
eter� The dirt alert function warns the user if, for example, the lens, an attached
protective glass or the sighting cone of the pyrometer gets dirty during a measure-
ment�
The parameter dirt alert is activated with the parameter [ d1 ] → [ d1.s ] = Dir
or [ d2 ] → [ d2.s ] = Dir � The dirt alert is a warning function� The warning
will become when the set threshold [

]� During measurements
of discontinuous processes, this warning is only active when the target object is
detected by the pyrometer and the threshold is violated�
