Fitting the standard weights
a)
Fit a standard galvanised weight (Fig.1 Page 4 Chapter 2) over each of the locating pins on the
base weights.
b)
Add an additional standard galvanised weight to two diagonally opposite locating pins of the
Weightanka assembly. If additional galvanised weights are called for (see section 2.5 Page 11),
they should be added in this pattern, with the number kept equal on each locating pin, or where
this is not possible, with additional weights on diagonally opposite locating pins.
c)
Fit the securing pins (Fig. 1 Page 4 Chapter 2) into the lowest possible hole on each locating pin.
Final inspection
Carry out a final check ensuring:
the system has been correctly assembled,
all bolts have been fastened to the specified torque,
the setscrews of the base weights are loose apart from those mentioned above,
None of the system components has been damaged.
Please note: the black and yellow warning labels are integral parts of the system and must be
attached and visible at all times.
Dismantling the Weightanka system
When you wish to dismantle the Weightanka system reverse the sequence. Should the system need to
be moved the base weights must be removed beforehand. Under no circumstances should the system
be moved with the base weights attached
