▶ While rotating it, insert the shaft unit ① into the handpiece.
▶ Grip the handpiece ②, and use the socket wrench E to screw the threaded
ring ① tight.
▶ Insert a new felt washer ① into the threaded ring ②.
▶ Grip the handpiece part, manually screw on the grip tip ②, and carefully tight‐
en with the clamp B.
▶ Insert the cover ①.

Note
To increase the service life of the ball bearings, KaVo recommends the following:
After changing the ball bearing, let the handpiece idle for about 60 minute at
10,000 to 15,000 rpm.

▶ Use the wrench

to unscrew the cap 2 from the motor part ①, and pull the
line in the direction of the arrow.
