Before using your unit for the fi rst time, read the “Safety Instructions – Important Infor-
mation” and “Installation and Connection” sections.
Do not connect the unit to the power supply until all installation work has been properly
carried out.
The guidance given in the “First Installation” section assumes that the receiver has
been properly connected, as per the “Safety Instructions – Important Information” and
“Installation and Connection” sections.

First switch your TV set on and select the AV channel slot you have used to connect the UFS 940sw to your
TV set. Start the UFS 940sw by pressing the on/off switch on the rear panel. The following on-screen display
appears:

buttons to select the de-
sired menu language for your receiver. The
language selected will be shown highlight-
ed in yellow. The following languages are
available:
Always pay attention to
the bar at the bottom of
the on-screen display.
This provides informa-
tion on what to do next.

Press the

(green) button to move to the next menu.
