Fresh water system
EN 35
5.13
Draining the boiler (in the Davis TS)
If the boiler is not used for an extended period of time, it has to be emptied completely in order to avoid
frost damage. Switch off the fresh water pump on the control panel and open all outlet points in the
kitchen and bathroom.
Turn the lever of the yellow folding valve 90° to the top (open position) to drain the boiler. Place a bucket
under the draining port to ensure that the boiler has been drained completely (approx. 10 litres).
5.14
Draining the boiler (in the Davis LS)
In vehicles with LS specification (Lifestyle), the boiler is part of the heating.
(See item 8.10
“Completely draining the heating boiler”.)
5.15
Waste water tank
The waste water tank is located under-
neath the vehicle. This is where the used
water is collected. The waste water tank is
fitted with a sensor. When the maximum
fill level has been reached, the “R1” warn-
ing signal on the control panel will light up
automatically. If this happens, the waste
water tank should be drained at the next
opportunity.

5.16
Waste water tank heating (Davis LS only)
In vehicles with LS specification (Lifestyle), the waste water tank is equipped with a dedicated heating to
prevent frost damage. The waste water tank heating runs on 12 V and can be switched on and off with
a switch on the bench seat compartment. When the waste water tank heating is in operation, a read
indicator lights up on the switch.
To avoid deep discharge of the living room battery B2, the waste water tank heating should only be used
when the motorhome is connected to a 230 V power supply, if possible.
The waste water tank heating has a 10 A fuse in slot F9.
(Also see item 7.8
“12 V fuse with distributor function”.)
