Danger
Risk of accident while working on the unit.
During all tasks
Î Switch off the immersion pump in the
building.
Î Turn off the power supply.

Work designated with the sign “Operator”
may only be carried out by persons who
have been instructed in the safe operation
and maintenance of the system.

Customer Service
Work designated with the sign “Cus-
tomer Service” may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service or
fitters who have been authorised by
Kärcher.
Troubleshooting
Who may remedy faults?
Fault Possible cause Remedy By whom
Plant out of order Fuse F1 is burnt out. Test the fuse, if necessary replace with new fuses
of the same capacity. (see "Fuses") Operator
Fault in the unit's power supply. Check power supply and ensure proper supply. Operator
Power supply to the pump in the building is
interrupted.
Indicator Lamp
"Fault" lit up. Filter inlay worn out. Replace filter inlay (see "Maintenance and Servic-
ing") Operator
Fuse F2 burnt out or motor filament filter de-
fective. Test the fuse, if necessary replace with new fuses
of the same capacity. (see "Fuses") If the fault per-
sists, call customer service. Operator
Fuse F3 burnt out or multiport valve drive
defective.
Processed water is
coloured or is foam-
ing too much Filter pre-tension is not correct. Remove motor filament screws, push the motor
upwards, twist the filter inlay 90° to the right, push
the motor filament filter back down, tighten screws. Operator
Filter inlay is defective (leaky) Replacing filter inlay Operator, Cus-

Sludge collector or pump basin is dirty Emptying and cleaning the basins Operator/ Dis-
