The path to the AvpCtl file is defined by the switch
–f,
when you
launch the daemon process from the command line (see
subchapter 6.2).
•
Name or IP address of the corresponding server
, if the
communication is to be performed via
Inet connect
.
3. In
the
Connect timeout
text field, define the time (in seconds)
for the program to wait for an answer from the daemon proc-
ess.
4. In
the
Temp directory
text field, define the full path to the di-
rectory for temporary files.
Make sure to include this directory in the location to be checked by
Daemon (see subchapter 11.7.2.2). Otherwise, the Keeper program
will not be able to detect viruses in mail messages.
To define mailers to be used by senders, recipients and admin-
istrators included in the address groups, follow these steps:
1. In
the
Sender mailer
text field, enter the required mailer iden-
tifier for the senders. The identifier general format is:
protocol:host:port
where:
protocol
is the optional protocol to be used by senders included in
the address groups (
smtp
or
lmtp
);
host
is the name or the IP-address of the sender host, or the
name of the corresponding mail program;
The mail program name must be enclosed with parentheses and
may be followed by the
optional command line switch.
port
is the required port number (the default value is 25).
For example, the mailer identification string may look similar to
the following:
smtp:localhost.tu:1100
or
lmtp:(local.mail –l)
