When installing or using this removable storage device, please observe the following 
precautions to avoid the risk of electrical shock and/or damage to your data:

Never open your computer before unplugging it from the power outlet. 

• 

If your unit comes with a power supply that connects to a power outlet, you must 
use a properly grounded outlet. 

• 

To protect your data stored on this removable storage device, always turn off 
power before removing or inserting the KanguruDisk into the dock. If your PC 
has critical data stored in it, we recommend a full backup before installing and 
using your KanguruDisk system. 

 

This chapter covers the hardware and setup procedures for your new 

KanguruDock for use with KanguruDisk.  Please read this chapter completely, following 
all the steps sequentially for a trouble-free installation.
