How Do I Risk Assess A Hazard?
Using the Kanga Risk Assessment tools
:
1. Determine the likelihood of the hazard occurring e.g. in this example we have
determined - Remote
2. Determine the severity of the consequence e.g. in this example we have
determined - Significant
3. The resultant score ( X ) is ( 5 ) which is a “ Low ” risk - we now need to refer to the
Risk Ranking Matrix for what action is required
Note: The higher the score the higher the risk
