Addendum to EPL4000 User Guide
Please note that if you make a mistake while entering a key sequence (access code),
the lock responds with a short red flash and a short audible tone.
This is an indication from the EPL4000 that a specific key was not pressed properly.
(Example: If your finger overlaps another key or the key was not pressed hard enough).
This type of error causes the EPL4000 to reject the code sequence.
To make sure that your key sequence is accepted by the EPL4000, follow the
instructions below.

Press the (*) key to clear current code sequence.
•
Re-enter the key sequence, making sure that each key is pressed firmly and that
you press only one key at a time.
