Figure 25: Secure Stencil Pro to mounting plate.
2.
An orange hex key multitool is included with the system for hand tightening
of these bolts. Do not overtighten.
3.
Connect Stencil Pro power and data cables to the corresponding
connectors on the Stencil Pro scanner (see Stencil Pro User Guide for
proper setup instructions).
4.
The cables can be connected and tightened by hand and should not require
any tools. The connectors are keyed to avoid improper insertion.
5.
Route the cables through the vehicle mount and into the vehicle. The cables
should be connected and routed in a method (with relief) that does not
strain the connectors at either end. Cables should be routed to avoid being
caught on passing objects during the drive.

1.
After the mount is secured to the roof of the vehicle, verify that the Stencil
Pro and vehicle mount does not move or lift when physically pulled/pushed.
2.
It is recommended that the security of the system be checked periodically
during vehicle scanning.
