Turn ON the JX-MP256FM:
1.If not already ON, turn on the JX-MP256FM by pressing and holding the
button,
until the unit begins to operate.
Display the Main Menu
2.Once ON, the unit will resume its operation by returning to its most recently used
function. If the Main Menu (below) is NOT displayed, press and hold the

until it appears.

Music Player Display
At the left, the Music Player display shows the title of the first song
being played (Chasing Rainbows), or to be played), along with some
useful playback information. Note that the title will scroll to the left

128 kbps is generally considered to be close to CD quality, and
should be quite suitable for all MP3 music played by your

These 3 symbols reflect what the JX-MP256FM is doing in the Music
Player mode, and one of them will appear at the lower left,
depending on the conditions. When STOPPED, the
indicator will
display. If a selection is playing, then the
indicator will be visible;
finally, if the selection is paused, the
indicator will be prominent.
Note: The
button is used to enter into each of the these three
modes. The use of this button is explained on page 3.
