• Clean the outside of the pump before starting the actual
dismantling.
• Drain out the lubricating oil from both gearboxes separately.
• Remove the driving shaft tab.
• Remove the front cover and extract the Y-seal. Put away the
spacer and the seeger ring. Pull-out and keep the cylindrical guiding
pins.
• Remove the rear cover.
Block the rotation of the axes by means of soft
material (rubber or a crop of belt power
trasmission) inserted between the teeth.
• If the compressor is provided with the overdrive unit:
- Remove the driving shaft tab.
- Remove the front flange (small) and extract the Y-seal.
- Remove the front overdrive cover with bearing support.
- Estract the bearing (21309 E/C3) using the tool no. 7.
- Pull-out the cylindrical guiding pins Ø10x20.
- Estract the overdrive driving shaft.
- Remove the overdrive housing.
- Estract the bearing (22207 E/C3) using the tool no.7.
- Pull-out the cylindrical guiding pins Ø10x25 (4 pcs).
- Remove the overdrive drived gear in the following order:
- Screw M12.
- Safety washer.
- Gear spacer.
- Drived gear.
- Tab.
- Bushing Spacer.
