2 Preparation
The following additional products are shown in the product
selector:

In coffee à la carte mode:
Briefly press the Rotary Switch once
to enter ‘coffee à la carte’ mode. In this mode you can select
the coffee strength and amounts
before
preparation.

The machine will exit from the product selector and ‘coffee à
la carte’ mode automatically after 5 seconds if no preparation
is started.

You can assign your favourite drinks to the multi-function but-
tons and the product selector. (see Chapter 4 ‘Permanent set-
tings in programming mode – Adding products to the start
screen’).
‘Espresso’
and
‘Coffee’
are prepared at the touch of a button follow-
ing this model.
Example:
Proceed as follows to prepare one coffee at the touch of a
button.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’
is displayed.

Place a cup under the coffee spout.
T
Press the
‘Coffee’
button.
Preparation starts. The preset amount of water for coffee
flows into the cup.
Preparation stops automatically.
‘Please select product:’
appears on the display.
Two ristretti, two espressi or two coffees can always be prepared fol-
lowing the same model: Press the preparation button you want
twice within two seconds
or select the desired double product in
the product selector.
