4.3 Picking up and putting down load units

Before picking up a load unit the driver must make sure that it has been correctly
palletised and does not exceed the permissible capacity of the truck.
Picking up long loads in crosswise direction is not permitted.
– Move the truck so that the load lifting device passes completely below the load.
Lifting / lowering (control shaft A)
Lifting
– Pull the handle (3) in direction “H” up to the notch.
– Press the button (2) until the desired lifting height has been reached.

The load lifting device can be lifted by pumping movements of the control shaft (1)
until the desired lifting height has been reached when the electric control elements
are not operable (e.g. when the battery is discharged).
Lowering
– Push the handle (3) in direction “S” to lower the load.

While moving the truck with a load, the handle (3) must be set to “Neutral”.
