C Transportation and commissioning
1 Transportation by crane

Use only hoisting equipment with appropriate carrying capacity, refer to the truck ID
plate for truck weight.

Attachment points (1) have been provided for transporting the truck with a crane hoist
gear.
– Park and lock the truck (refer to
chapter E).
– Attach the crane hoist gear to the
attachment points (1).

Attach the crane hoist gear at the
attachment points in such a way that it
cannot slip for any reason!
The crane hoist gear must be attached
in such a way that it cannot touch any
truck components.
2 Commissioning
To make the truck operational after delivery or transport, perform the following steps:
– Check the equipment for completeness and condition.
– If necessary, install the battery. Make sure that the battery cable is not damaged.
– Charge the battery (see chapter D).
– Commission the truck as detailed in chapter E.

When the truck is parked, the running surface of the tyres will flatten. These
flattenings will disappear after travelling for a while.
