5.8. Self-tuning the PID-control parameters Xp, Tn und Tv
The parameters Xp, Tn and Tv are permanently and
automatically determined and stored by means of the self-
tuning facility.
•
Press the
key and start the controller by pressing
the start/stop key.
•
The indicator light has two functions:
If it lights up - the
key is in use.
If it blinks – the self-tuning function is active.
Information:
For successful self-tuning, the controller heats above a
temperature difference of 20°C.
The control parameters are set too high if the selected
values cannot be reached under certain circumstances.
The control parameters are switched off so that they can
be reduced before operation.
Recommended: Xp = 4.0 °C
Tn = 150 s
Tv = 10 s
Self-tuning the control parameters display:
•
Keep the setpoint key depressed. The control light blinks
and the effective setpoint of the parameters is shown on
the MULTIDISPLAY (LED).
It is not possible to change the setpoint manually while
the self-tuning function is switched on.
