(1) Troubles and corrective measures (Mechanical parts)

1. Wiper cannot spread a thread.

2. Abnormal noise

3. Deformation in sewn pattern

Wiper interferes with the needle.

Wiper interferes with the intermediate

presser.

Wiper spreads thread before thread has

been trimmed. (Z type)

Spreading force of wiper is too weak.

Backlash in the hook shaft is large.

Backlash in the hook shaft is small.

Oil amount in the hook is small.

Backlash in X feed gear is large.

Backlash in Y feed gear is large.

Travelling torque in X direction is excessive.

Inaccurate positioning of the wiper

Length of wiper ON delay time is short.

Supply air pressure is low.

Backlash between the X feed arm and the

motor base is excessive.
