PM-1

2-33. trial stitching function

Data created wth PM-1 (sewng data programmng/edtng software) can be used for tral sttchng

by connectng the personal computer and the sewng machne onlne.

Connect the personal computer wth the IP-420. Create data wth the PM-1. Then, transmt the data

to the sewng machne. When the IP-420 dsplays the data entry screen, the tral sttchng screen s

automatcally dsplayed. Refer the HELP for the PM-1 for how to operate the PM-1.

receiving trial stitching data from the PM-1

When the data on tral sttchng (vector form data) s sent from

the PM-1, the tral sttchng screen shown at left s dsplayed.

At the center of the screen, the needle entry dagram of the

transmtted data s dsplayed. The needle entry dagram dffers

n color accordng to the thread tenson value.

Editing the vector data

Three tems show descrbed below can be set for the vector-

form data transmtted from the PM-1.

How to carry out trial stitching

changing the data

When you press tem (

) button you want to change, the

numerc keys are dsplayed. Enter a desred value.

After the data entry, press enter button

When programming a pattern, the starting point has to be set at coordinates (0, 0) or

enter a second origin at coordinates (0, 0). Be aware that the garment-body presser

and the wiper can interfere with each other depending on the location of the sewing

starting position.
