CONNECTION AND MOUNTING OF SPCM Receiver
This is the explanation of how to use a SPCM receiver with the transmitter.
JR labels the channels on the receiver with names rather than numbers. From this point onward in the manual, the
receiver channels will be described using their names.
Some of the internal parts of the receiver are fragile to the shock of a drop, vibration, water etc.
Be sure to mount so that impact to the airplane is not directly conveyed to the receiver.
For mounting, wrap the receiver, batteries, etc. with rubber foam and fix them with rubber bands.
After completing the servo linkages, be sure they move smoothly and do not contact parts of the aircraft body.
Some airplanes may use many relay connectors(extension harnesses) at the time of mounting. In such case, fix
the connectors by wrapping them with rubber etc., and do not leave the connectors dangling.
When mounting the switch harness to the aircraft, be sure it can move through its full range of motion.
Mount the servos using the supplied rubber grommets, brass spacers, and then secure with screws.
Do not lubricate or use waterproof spray on the servo gears or motor.

Precautions when using SPCM
Four types of modulation method can be selected with this transmitter: DMSS, DSM2, SPCM, and PPM. Different
module and receiver types require different modulation methods be selected.
With SPCM and FM systems, simultaneous operation of two transmitters on the same frequency is not possible.
When operating with FM systems, interference is indicated by abnormal 'jumpy' operation. With SPCM, interference
is not as obvious as the receiver will ignore outside interference. Correct failsafe setup is important.
When using a SPCM receiver, modulation should be set to SPCM, and with a FM receiver should be set to PPM. Be
sure to install the rod antenna whenever operating using these systems.

antenna to its full length,
and install in such a way
that the antenna is as
straight as possible.
