DTMF ACCESS OPTION 

This option allows a radio user to use his DTMF keypad to quickly place a telephone call via the 
RTU-292C.  If the user does not have DTMF capability, the Squelch Break Access Option allows 
the use a series of squelch breaks to automatically connect to the telephone at speed dial location 
#01 (see next section).  In the following description, system voice prompts are listed.  If the Voice 
Prompt Option is not installed, only the tone prompts will be heard. 

 

NOTE 

It is possible to enable this option remotely.  If you have purchased an RTU-292C 
without this option and want to add it, contact us.
