INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT:

After installing float, inspect for

smooth movement of float.

Checking Float Height

Measure the float height.

•

Float height: 10 ± 2 mm

IMPORTANT:

Float weight cannot be applied to

needle valve.

Install the pilot jet, pilot air jet, and main air jet.

INSTALLATION

Installation is reverse order of removal with spe-
cial attention to the following steps.

IMPORTANT:

Do not re-use the removed gas-

ket. Always use a new gasket.

Tighten the carburetor mounting bolts to 7.0 ft.
lbs. (10 N·m).
