Basic Functions
• This robot vacuum cleaner vacuums up
loose dirt. To clean more efficiently, it has
a rotating floor brush.
• When the device bumps into a wall or
other obstacles, it changes its direction of
travel.
• The step sensors on the bottom of the
device recognise steps or other depres-
sions so that the device cannot fall down.
• The device can be carried comfortably
using the built-in handle.
Before Initial Use
Before you can use this device, you must:
• Unpack the items supplied,

Fully charge up the battery.
Unpacking the items supplied
Please note!
• Keep children and animals away from the
packaging material. Danger of suffocation!
• Unpack all parts and check the items
supplied to make sure they are complete
(see the "What is Supplied" chapter); also
check for transport damage. If you find any
damage to the components, do not use
them (!), but instead contact our customer
service department (see the "Customer
Service" chapter).
Charging the Battery
It takes approx. 6 hours for an empty bat-
tery to fully charge up.
1. Insert the plug at the end of the mains
cable into the connecting socket on the
back of the device.
2. Insert the mains adapter into a mains
socket that is easily accessible.
3. After that, the charging procedure be-
gins. The red control lamp above the con-
necting socket.
If the control lamp does not light up, this
is an indication that the battery still has
power left in it and the battery is not being
charged. Always allow the device to run
down completely before charging it up
again.
4. When the battery is charged up, the red
control lamp will go out. Disconnect the
device from the mains power. Your robot
vacuum cleaner is now ready for use.
Preparing the Room
Please note!
• If you are using the device in a room for
the first time, keep an eye on it in case you
need to remove any obstacles so that the
device can effectively clean the entire
room.
• The device is not suitable for plush or
shag carpeting.
• Remove any objects from the floor that
may get caught in the floor brush or pre-
vent the device from cleaning. In particu-
lar, do not leave plastic bags on the floor.
