Mermaid & Ranger
Lower the seat frame into the bath and then clean both the seat and frame. When cleaning
the Ranger and Commode seat, it is necessary to lift the seat section, as shown in Photo CL1.
Do not clip the seat back into position until the seat frame is removed from the bath and the
cleaning process has been completed.
The inside of the support tubes (See photo CL2) can be cleaned using an appropriate long
handled, stiff bristled ‘bottle type’ brush.
Pay particular attention to any recesses in the framework and seat.
Raise the seat frame clear of the disinfectant solution and clean thoroughly underneath.
WARNING
Care is needed when draining out disinfectant solution from the support tubes as the
seat frame is being raised.
After cleaning, the disinfectant solution can be drained from the bath and the hoist should then
be rinsed with clean water. Finally, thoroughly dry the product with a disposable cloth.
For the Ranger and Commode seat, make sure that the seat is correctly clipped back into
position and securely fitted to the frame.
WARNING
Thoroughly clean the brush in a fresh solution of disinfectant/cleaner. Rinse well with
clean water. Dry the brush and store ready for the next cleaning operation.
