6. FAQ and maintenance
6.1 FAQ
If your problem is not the content of the following, please contact your local customer
service staff or call the customer service consulting headquarters, we will be happy to
serve you.
Q: When turned on, the DVR does not start properly
A: Possible reasons:

Input power is not correct

Switching power line contact is not good

Switching Power Supply bad

Program Upgrade Error

Hard disk is damaged or hard-line issue

Front panel fault

DVR bad motherboard
Q: A few minutes after starting the DVR will automatically reboot or frequent crashes
A: Possible reasons:

Input voltage is unstable or too low

Hard disk has bad sectors or bad hard line

Switching power supply power is not enough

Front-end video signal instability

Adverse heat, too much dust, the machine is too harsh operating
environment

DVR hardware failure
Q: System cannot detect hard disk.
A: Possible reasons are as followed:

The hard disk power supply line is not connected.

The cables of the hard disk are damaged.

The hard disk is damaged.

The SATA port of main board is damaged.
Q: There are no video outputs in single channel, multiple channels and all channels.
A: Possible reasons are as followed:

The program is not matched. Please update the program.

The image brightness is all 0. Please restore the default setup.

There is no video input signal or the signal is too weak.

The channel protection or the screen protection is set.

The hardware of the DVR is damaged.
Q: I cannot find the video files in local playback mode.
A: Possible reasons are as followed:

The data line of the hard disk is damaged.

The hard disk is damaged.
