CD/MP3 OPERATION
This CD player not only plays commercial CDs, but also self-compiled CD-R/RW discs. Do
not attempt to play CD-ROM, CDI, VCD, DVD or computer CDs.
•
Because of non-standardized format definition/production of CD-R/RW, playback
quality & performance are not guaranteed.
•
Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of CD-R/RW due to recording
conditions such as PC performance, writing software, media ability, etc.
•
Do not attach a label or seal to either side of the CD-R/RW disc. It may cause a
malfunction.
INSERTING A CD or MP3 FORMAT DISC
1. Use the
FUNCTION
button on the unit or remote control to
select the CD mode.
2. Fully open the CD door and carefully place an audio CD or
MP3 disc with its label side facing upward in the CD
compartment and gently close the CD door.
3. The unit will read the CD or MP3 disc automatically and the
Display will show “READING”.
4. If no disc is inserted or if the inserted disc is not recognized, the display will show the
message “NO DISC”. If the CD door is not closed, the display will show “OPEN”.
5. Adjust the VOLUME control to obtain the desired sound level from the Built-in
Speakers.
AUDIO CD DISC PLAYBACK
1. When the CD door is closed and a CD is inside, the total
number of the tracks and playing time appears on the
display and the first track will start playing automatically.
The CD indicator will always show on the display when
the unit is in CD mode.
2. Adjust the VOLUME control to obtain the desired sound
level from the Built-in Speakers.
AUDIO MP3 DISC PLAYBACK
1. When the CD door is closed and an MP3 formatted disc is
inside, the total number of the folders and tracks on the
disc show on the display and the first track will start
playing automatically. The current folder number always
shows on the display when the unit is in MP3 mode.
2. Press and hold the
RANDOM/ID3
button on remote
control. The display will show “ID3 ON”, and then automatically search more than 64
letters of “TITLE NAME”, “ARTIST NAME” “ALBUM NAME” which will continuously
scroll from right to left on the display.
3. Press
and hold the
RANDOM/ID3
button again, the display will show “ID3 OFF”, and
then the unit will play normally without the ID3 tag information.
4. Adjust the VOLUME control to obtain the desired sound level from the Built-in
Speakers.
