Notes:     
1    The radio will continue to drain the battery if it's left in Weather Standby Mode, so it is 

highly recommended that you use AC adaptor to prevent the battery from completely 
draining and turning the radio off while in use.   

2    NOAA Weather band is a service broadcast of the U.S. Government and available in all 

50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.   

3   The NOAA Weather Service broadcasts a test alert every Wednesday between 11 am 

and Noon. To receive the broadcasts, the radio must be within the range of the local 
broadcast site, 10 - 40 miles, depending on terrain and obstructions.

Weather Band Radio Alert

 

1.  Tap the 

 

BUTTON (#9) to turn the unit ON.   

2.  Tap the SOURCE BUTTON (#9) repeatedly to select weather band alert mode. The WB 

ICON (#18) and ALERT

 

ICON (#17) will light on the LCD DISPLAY (#12). 

3.  Tap the TUNE - or TUNE + BUTTONS (#5 or #7) to select the weather band channel for 

your area. 

4.  When the alert signal is received, the ALERT LED RING (#2) on the top of the unit will 

flash and ALERT ICON (#17) and WARNING ICON (#25) will flash at the bottom of the 
LCD DISPLAY (#12). 

5.  To stop the alert warning, tap SOURCE BUTTON (#9) once. The unit will switch from 

alert mode to weather band radio mode. 

6.  To turn the radio off, press and hold the 

 

BUTTON (#9). 

     
 

AUXILIARY INPUT 

 

This unit provides an AUX IN JACK (#14) for connecting external audio devices like MP3 
players, CD players or smart phones to listen to your external source through the speakers 
of this system. 
1. Use an audio cable (not included) with one 3.5 mm stereo plug on each end of the cable. 
2. Plug one end into the AUX IN JACK (#14) on the main unit and the other end of the cable 

into the Line-out Jack or Headphone Jack of your external audio device. 

3. Turn on the external audio device. 
4. To select auxiliary audio input, tap the SOURCE BUTTON (#9) to select AUX mode. 
5. The volume level can now be controlled through the main unit. Operate all other 

functions on the auxiliary device as usual. 

Notes:

   

  Tap the CLOCK SET button (#4) to check the current time. The unit will automatically 

return to show AUX if you do not tap any button within 10 seconds. 

  If the Line-out Jack of your external device is connected, then you only need to adjust 

the volume control of this system. If the Headphone Jack of your external device is 
connected, then you may need to adjust both the volume control of your external device 
and the volume control of this system to find the most desirable volume setting.   

  Press and hold the 

  BUTTON (#9) to turn off the unit when you finish listening. Don't 

forget to switch off the power on your external device as well.
