5. When prompted, enter a number designation (e.g.:
“Home,” “Work,” “Mobile,” or “Pager”). This will allow
you to store multiple numbers for each phonebook entry,
if desired.
6. When prompted, confirm the number of the touch-
tone sequence as a phone number for the phonebook
entry that you are adding.
7. After you are finished adding an entry into the phone-
book, you will be given the opportunity to add more
phone numbers to the current entry or to return to the
main menu.
Using the voice tag to send a saved touch-tone sequence
For example, if required to enter your pin number saved
as “Voicemail Pin Code”
Press the Voice Command button.
Say SEND “Voicemail Pin Code.”
Turning Confirmation Prompts On/Off
Turning confirmation prompts off will stop the system
from confirming your choices (e.g. the Uconnect™ Phone
system will not repeat a phone number before you dial
it).
1. Press the Uconnect™ Phone button to begin.
2. Wait for the beep.
3. Say Uconnect SETUP.
4. After the “Ready” prompt and the following beep, say
CONFIRMATION PROMPTS.
5. Uconnect™ Phone will play the current confirmation
prompt status and you will be given the choice to change
it.
