7 - CONVEYOR
1.
Before each use, check the tension of the conveyor belt. A tension that is too high or
too low could lead to damage.
2.
The conveyor belt should not rub against the chassis.
3.
To tighten the belt, follow the instructions below:
1- Loosen the two locknuts which are used for blocking the tensioner in translation.
2- Adjust the tension of the belt with the 2 other nuts on the threaded rod.
3- Once the belt is tight, firmly tighten the 2 locknuts again.
4.
Regularly
clean the inside of the conveyor belt through the provided access hatches,
and control the adjustment of the roller scrapers so that they are always in contact with the
rollers.
Note: The tension should be the same on both sides.
The conveyor belt should be totally free.
The conveyor bearings should be regularly lubricated with a grease pump.
8 – KNIVES OF BEATER
1.
Every
20
hours check the state of the knives to see if they are worn. The knives are
self-sharpening as they are treated with tungsten carbide on the lower part of the
knives, but if necessary it is possible to sharpen them by polishing the upper part of
the knives’ serration with a buffing wheel. (Notice: Do not grind or polish the lower
part of the knives).
2.
Knives which are in a good condition guarantee optimal cutting of the material and
bring less strain to the mechanical elements of the equipment. Replace them if the
mixing lasts a long time or if the absorbed power is too important.
9 - STAND
Regularly check the stand and lubricate every six months the stand ball joint.
