Important. To make 90° crosscuts, the
extension block (34a) must be fixed at the inner
position.
• Open the set screw (34b) for the extension
block and push the extension block inwards.
• The extension block (34a) must be fixed far
enough in front of the innermost position
that the distance between the extension
block (34a) and the saw blade (19) amounts
to a maximum of 0.3” (8 mm).
• Before making a cut, check that the extension
block (34a) and the saw blade (19) cannot
collide.
• Secure the set screw (34b) again.
• Loosen locking handle (8) and lift up the turn
table release lever (9).
• Use locking handle (8) to adjust the turn
table (26) to the desired angle. The pointer
(35) on the turn table must match the
desired angle on the mitre scale (27) on the
base (6).
• Re-tighten the locking handle (8) in order to
secure the turn table (26).
• Cut as described under section “Cross cut
90° and turn table 0°”.
Precision adjustment of the stop for
mitre cut 45° (Fig. 1/9/10)
• Lower the motor (20) and secure using the
lock down pin (22).
• Fix the turn table (26) in the 0° position.
• Loosen the bevel lock knob (24) and use the
handle (1) to angle the motor (20) 45° to the
left.
• 45° - position angle checker between the
saw blade (19) and turn table (26).
Cross cut 90° and turn table 0° - 45°
(Fig. 8)
The crosscut saw can be used to make
crosscuts of 0° -45° to the left and 0° -45° to
the right in relation to the lower fence (15).
